Welcome to the KARL project. KARL is an open source web system for collaboration, organizational intranets, and knowledge management. It is produced by the Open Society Institute (OSI) and used by OSI and others, with an emphasis on:

• Usability for regular folks
• A simple set of well-integrated tools
• High-quality through architecture, testing, planning, and performance
